Piano
Grow in your piano performance.
As a Conservatory of Music piano student, you will benefit from a combination of expert instruction and healthy competition as you develop your musicianship among a community of students and faculty who share your love for excellent, beautiful music.
Each year the piano area invites world-renowned pianists such as the late Menahem Pressler, Boris Berman, Robert McDonald, Ann Schein, Angela Cheng, Norman Krieger, Christopher Harding, and William Nabore to give guest artist recitals and master classes, which will improve your skills and heighten your level of artistry. You also have the opportunity to compete in four competitions each year where you can win scholarships or the privilege of performing a concerto with the Biola Symphony Orchestra. The Conservatory also offers a performance degree in organ with an outstanding pipe organ, state of the art digital practice organ and on-campus instruction from renowned performer and educator Jung-A Lee.
